Duong lam ancient village on Sunday

As Hanoi Old Quater, Duong Lam village is a valuable heritage of Vietnamese ancient civilization. It makes a typical image of a traditional village in the Red River Delta.







DETAILED PROGRAM

 08:00 - 08:30. Get pick up by our tour guide and bus then depart for Duong lam village . Upon arrival, bike along nice village alley to visit Mong Phu temple in Mong Phu hamlet - the only hamlet whose original village entrance gate remains intact. 
9:30.  Continue riding around village to discover daily life of Vietnamese peasants and enjoy a pure atmosphere here, stop in two ancient houses: the bigger was built 200 years ago and the other dated back to 400 years ago.
 12:00. Bus takes you to a local restaurant in Duong Lam village, have a rest and enjoy the lunch
13:30.  visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple dedicated to two national heroes Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung. 
 15:00. Again biking to visit Mia Pagoda (other hamlet in Duong Lam village) was built in 15 th century and admire 287 statues of all sizes, among with are famous sculpture such as the statue of Buddha in the Himalayas and the statues of the Eight Vajra Deities. 
17h30.  Arrive in Hanoi. Get dropped off at your morning places. Tour ends.
